Instead of having members of Congress attacking the Tea Party Movement and calling supporters as "Enemies of the State", maybe people need to state why the Tea Party Movement is so bad. The Movement is openly supporting to have the government to downsize. Since 2006, the Congress has caused the government's annual red ink to jump from $161 Billion to currently $1.6 Trillion. That is a 1,000% increase is annual red ink to date.
What is wrong with the taxpayers requiring that the government to have a balanced budget every year, have a fair flat tax system and follow the US Constitution?
Under Obama's own 2012 spending plan, the government will lose a record $1.8 Trillion in 2012.
In 1998, Under the Republican Congress and President Clinton, the entire government ran on $1.8 Trillion budget, and had a operating surplus. So it does not matter who you voted for. Anyone can see that if the Federal Government does not downsize and cut spending soon, that the entire country will be caught in a financial meltdown. Congress controls how much spending is approved. Congress decides how much debt it wants to create. The US Senate actually decides how much it will allow the President to get away with Executive Order spending with a blank check.
We need to be asking for solutions, not name calling.
