About RSS Aggregators
RSS/News Aggregators (also called Readers) will download and display RSS feeds for you. A number of free and commercial News Aggregators are available for download.
Many aggregators are separate, "stand-alone" programs; other services will let you add RSS feeds to a Web page. Yahoo! users can add RSS feeds to your My Yahoo! page; to make this easier, you can click on the "Add to My Yahoo!" button to the right of each link above.
Another way many people use RSS feeds is by incorporating content into weblogs, or "blogs". Blogs are web pages comprised of usually short, frequently updated items and web links. Blogging as a publishing tool is used for many purposes: traditional journalism, personal journals, group discussions around a topic, and many combinations in-between.
What Is RSS?
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is an XML-based format for sharing and distributing Web content, such as news headlines. Using an RSS reader, you can view data feeds from various news sources, such as americansforfreedom.com, including headlines, summaries, links to full stories.
Use of AFF RSS Feeds:
RSS is a free service offered by AFF for non-commercial use. Any other uses, including without limitation the incorporation of advertising into or the placement of advertising associated with or targeted towards the RSS Content, are strictly prohibited. You must use the RSS feeds as provided by AFF, and you may not edit or modify the text, content or links supplied by AFF.
Link to Content Pages:
The RSS service may be used only with those platforms from which a functional link is made available that, when accessed, takes the viewer directly to the display of the full article on the AFF Site. You may not display the RSS Content in a manner that does not permit successful linking to, redirection to or delivery of the applicable AFF Site web page or the third party websites for articles linked via AFF. You may not insert any intermediate page, splash page or other content between the RSS link and the applicable AFF Site web page.
AFF retains all ownership and other rights in the AFF Content (except in the case of third party linked stories), and any and all AFF logos and trademarks used in connection with the RSS Service. You must provide attribution to the appropriate AFF website in connection with your use of the RSS feeds. .
